Deleting your The Winning Hand account

The Winning Hand is a game published by the American Mah Jongg Association.

DELETE FROM INSIDE THE APP
1. Open The Winning Hand and sign in.
2. Tap the account icon at the top right of the Home screen.
3. Choose Account, then Delete Account.
4. Read the confirmation, then choose Delete My Account.

Your account is deleted immediately. You can do the same thing in a web browser at play.americanmahjonggassociation.com.

IF YOU CANNOT SIGN IN
Email hello@americanmahjonggassociation.com from the address linked to your American Mah Jongg Association membership and ask us to delete your The Winning Hand account. We will confirm by email once deletion is done.

WHAT IS DELETED
- Your The Winning Hand profile: first name, last name and display name
- Your sign-in identity for The Winning Hand
- Your access record for the app
- Any game in progress, saved scores and app preferences on your device

WHAT IS NOT DELETED
Your American Mah Jongg Association membership is separate and is not affected. Your annual card review, practice sessions and every other member benefit continue unchanged, and there is nothing you need to cancel first. To change or cancel your membership, sign in at member.americanmahjonggassociation.com or email hello@americanmahjonggassociation.com.

IF YOU SIGN IN AGAIN
If you sign in again with an active membership, a new and empty account is created and you will be asked to set up your profile again. Your previous profile and game data are not restored.

DATA RETENTION
Deletion is immediate and permanent, and we keep no copy of a deleted The Winning Hand profile. Routine server logs recording that a request took place are kept for up to 30 days; these logs contain no name or email address.
